In the era of In-Ear earphones that has those rubber/silicon tips at the front, which randomly falls off and you are searching for them instead of listening with them, JBL launched a earphone which has no detachable front and has Apple Airpods like fitting in the ear ! JBL 205BT is a wireless bluetooth earphone with a neckband.
The Design:-
JBL Tune 205BT is a wireless earphone with a neck band. The front end of the earbud is not detachable as I mentioned above, it is made up of plastic ( soft feeling). The built quality seems nice for the price point although earphones are made up of plastic. The earphone has flat wire which prevents the earphone from tangling. It has a power button and besides that volume buttons are present. It has one LED, which blinks in white when unpaired and stays on as blue light when connected to a device.

It is powered by Bluetooth 4.1.
As it doesn't have Bluetooth 5.0 it misses on certain features like, higher range, efficient battery usage, higher speed. In practical usage the speed difference between two is not so significant for you to realise it.

The Battery :-
On the box it says, "6 hours if battery life" but in practical usage, you well get somewhere around 4 hours to 4 and 1/2 hours. JBL Tune 204BT doesn't have fast charging so it takes 2 hours to recharge it fully. I am very disappointed with the battery life, these days people are shifting totally towards wireless, so lot of companies providing large batteries so that battery life would be around life of around minimum of 8 hours and some claim of 12 hrs also. With 4 hours of average battery life, for most of the people, the battery wouldn't even last for a whole day !

It has 12.5mm driver which puts out the audio. The bass is boosted but not so much, it is decent enough for you to enjoy the music but not so high that it would mask other frequencies also! Mid and high frequency are high ! Vocals are crisp and clear !

The mic of this earphone is nice, the person on the other end wont be able to tell that you are using earphones

How to use:-
1. Press the button for more than 2 seconds to turn on
2. White light blinking meaning it isnt paired
3. Go to Bluetooth settings on your phone and pair with the earphones, its name would be JBL TUNE 205BT
4. After pairing, white light will turn into constant blue light
5. Besides the power button, volume up and volume buttons are there which can also be used to skip forward the song or rewind it. Holding volume up button for more than 2 seconds will skip forward the song and holding the volume down button to rewind the song
6. Power button an be used to pick up the incoming call and disconnect it after talking with a single click
